This project includes, but is not limited to, 5,958 L.F. of roadway improvements, including the removal and disposal of 18,000 square yards of concrete pavement, 7,000 tons of aggregate base course, 5,000 tons of asphalt paving, 13,000 linear feet of curb and gutter and sidewalks.  From North Hills BLVD to Beaconsfield Road.

East Maryland Ave. Improvements

This project includes, but is not limited to, removing and widening a portion of Maryland Ave to a two-lane road with adjacent bike lanes, curb and gutter, sidewalks as well as constructing a storm drain system.  Major items of work include approximately: 3,478 C.Y. of Embankment Construction, 7,585 C.Y. of Unclassified Excavation, 8,132 Tons of Aggregate Base Course (Class 7), 2,754 Tons of ACHM Binder Course, 3,724 Tons of ACHM Surface Course, 6,685 L.F. of Concrete Curb and Gutter, 3,872 S.Y. of Sidewalk, 4,161 L.F. of R.C. Pipe, and 302 L.F. of a double 5’x3’ Precast R.C. Culvert.

East Maryland Ave. Extension

This project includes, but is not limited to, removing and widening a portion of Maryland Ave.  In order to preserve the residential nature and provide for a bicycle and pedestrian friendly corridor, the extension of Maryland Ave, the section will consist of (2) 11-foot driving lanes, (2) 5.5-foot bicycle lanes with curb and gutter and 5-foot sidewalks on both sides.  Neighborhood traffic circles shall be constructed at Willow Grove, Hemphill, Peach Tree/Pamala, and Overcup.

Hemphill Road

The project consists of the redevelopment of the Hemphill Road Corridor located in Pulaski County, which consists of the full-depth reconstruction of the Hemphill Road corridor, the extension of Hemphill Road to East Maryland Avenue, and the construction of a roundabout at the proposed intersection of East Maryland Avenue and Hemphill Road. The drainage within the right of way will be upgraded to accommodate the stormwater runoff and the wider thoroughfare.  Drainage improvements will include, but not be limited to, installation of a precast concrete arch bridge, replacement of roadside ditches with underground improved drainage, and removal or replacement of driveway culverts within the project area.

Jacksonville CATO Rd. Improvements

Lybrand Drive to Highway 107 - Street and Drainage Improvements.  The project includes, but is not limited to. 4,980 linear feet of roadway improvements including the construction of two round-abouts, a seven-barrel reinforced concrete box culvert, earthwork, 12,000 tons of asphalt paving, 9,600 tons of class 7, curb and gutter, drainage, and pedestrian improvements.

The project consists of extending the existing roadway 475 feet, including a 5-foot sidewalk, curb, and gutter, two stormwater inlet boxes connected to existing stormwater drainage, and the extension of wastewater, including a manhole.

Oneida Bridge

Removal of existing degraded bridge, constructed in 1975, crossing Kellogg Creek and the construction of replacement bridge connecting the Indianhead neighborhood in Sherwood with the North Lake Subdivision in Jacksonville. A joint project including the Arkansas Department of Transportation, Pulaski County, the cities of Sherwood and Jacksonville.  Completed December 30, 2021
