City of Sherwood sanitation routes for Thursday, Feb. 3, and Friday, Feb. 4, will be postponed until Monday, Feb. 7. Sanitation crews will make every effort to pick up routes that they would typically pick up on Monday, Feb. 7, and Tuesday, Feb. 8, on Tuesday, Feb. 8. Our Public Works Department will use Wednesday, Feb. 9, to pick up any missed areas and complete the regular Wednesday route, hopefully returning to the regular schedule for the remainder of the week. If you live in a Thursday or Friday route, make sure to have your can at the curb on Monday morning until crews have had a chance to empty it. If you live in a Monday or Tuesday route, make sure to have your can at the curb on Tuesday morning and leave it there until crews have had a chance to empty it. Please be patient with our Public Works Department as they work as quickly and as safely as possible to catch up on routes.
