Mark your calendars for October 3, 2024! The Sherwood Police Department is hosting its first annual Night to Unite, a community-building campaign designed to foster police-resident partnerships and camaraderie, ultimately making our neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live. This event, Sherwood’s unique take on the National Night Out, aims to strengthen the bond between neighbors and law enforcement while reviving a true sense of community.
The festivities will take place on Thursday, October 3rd, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at City Hall Park, located at 2199 East Kiehl Avenue in Sherwood.
We invite everyone to come out and join the fun on October 3rd! Let's make this a night to remember and strengthen our community ties.
Schedule of Events
5:30 - 7:00 PM
First Responder Mingle - Meet and greet with the Sherwood Police Department, Fire Department, MEMS, Arkansas Game & Fish, Helicopter unit, SWAT, Police Motorcycles, Drones, Tow truck, Police K9 unit, Animal Control, and Code Enforcement.
Free food - Goodies fresh off the grill provided by the Sherwood Police Department and cooked by Sgt. Akins.
Fun and Games - Inflatable obstacle course and games for kids.
7:00 - 8:30 PM
Family-Friendly Concert by Christian Davis - a multi-Dove Award-winning and Grammy-nominated artist who is known for his exceptional voice.
